Projects allow you to work with a group of termbases simultaneously. This is useful if, for example, you want to make additions to a local termbase, and search several remote termbases.
A project is always created by default. The default project name is Untitled.xdp and is placed when saved by default in C:\Program Files\TRADOS Corporate Language\MultiTerm\Termbase. The termbase that you open first in the project becomes the default termbase for that project. This is open in read/write mode, and any additions or deletions are made to this termbase. The other termbases in the project are available for reference. The list of termbases is stored in a project.
Projects allow you to save the project settings that you use, the search settings and a list of favourites. These will then be ready for you to use when you open up the project.
