You can add new fields to an existing termbase entry at entry and index level, provided that you have write access to the entry at the appropriate level.
Termbase entries are hierarchically structured and all fields are nested inside parent fields or the entry and index/language headers. You can add new fields to any field that is defined as a parent field in the termbase definition. To find out whether an existing field is a parent field or not, select the field label and right-click to display a list of subordinate fields. You can add any of the fields on this list to the selected parent field. If there is no list, the selected field has no subordinate fields.
Search for the entry you wish to edit. Click on the relevant term in the hit list to open the corresponding entry in the entry pane.
Choose a layout and input model that displays the fields you wish to edit.
Select Edit from the Entry menu: the background of the entry pane changes colour to indicate that you are now in edit mode.
Select the parent field to which you wish to add new fields and right-click to display a list of subordinate fields.
Select a field from the list click to add it to your entry. MultiTerm adds the new field as a child of the selected parent field.
Notes
The input model and layout you are using while in edit mode affect the range of termbase fields that are available to you and visible in the entry pane.
If a field is marked as multiple in the termbase definition, then it can be added several times at the same level in a single entry. For example, many entries contain several terms in the same language because the language or index field is marked as multiple in the termbase definition.
