An export definition is a termbase object that is used to specify the parameters of an export operation. This includes, for example, what fields you want to export, and how you want fields to appear in the export file.
When defining your export, you can decide to:
Export your entire termbase or specific portions of your termbase.
Export certain fields only.
Customise the format of the exported data, for example, inserting certain characters at the beginning or end of entries.
Globally change field names and insert line breaks and tabs.
You create an export definition using the Export Wizard.
Existing export definitions can be manipulated as follows:
edit export definitions using the Export Wizard
save the export definition to the file system as an XDX Export definition file saved in XML format
load an export definition back into MultiTerm or MultiTerm Administrator from the file system
delete the export definition from your termbase
