Opening a Termbase

MultiTerm allows you to open several termbases at one time. The first termbase that you open becomes the default termbase. All edits and changes to settings, for example, the source and target languages, affect this termbase only. The other termbases are only accessible for searches.

You can change the default termbase for a project in the Project Properties dialog box.

To open one or more termbases in MultiTerm:

  1. From the Termbase menu, select Open Termbase. The Open Termbase dialog box appears.

  2. The termbases available are listed. Select each termbase that you want to open.

  3. Click OK. All the checked termbases are opened.

Your access to and rights within remote termbases on a network depend on the user profile that you have been assigned in MultiTerm Administrator.
