MultiTerm Enterprise

- the server application that enables SOAP-based communication between MultiTerm Enterprise Server and other components in the system, including the MultiTerm client.

- a web server application which generates the web frontend for MultiTerm. The MultiTerm Online web pages allow you to browse and search termbases online and to carry out a range of editing tasks. It allows terminology management functions such as searching and editing.

- Simple Object Access Protocol. Provides an open, extensible way for applications to communicate using XML-based messages over the web, regardless of what operating system, object model, or programming language they use.

- Local Area Network. A network in which computers are linked to each other via Ethernet connections. This is commonly used within companies. MultiTerm can be deployed as a client/server system on a LAN.

MultiTerm Enterprise

The MultiTerm Enterprise solution allows unlimited user connections and accounts on the user database. It includes MultiTerm Anywhere and MultiTerm Online.

SQL 7 or SQL 2000 should be installed before MultiTerm Enterprise Server is installed.

Enterprise users can use MultiTerm either locally on a hard disk or remotely by connecting to a local or remote server. You can easily share termbases that are installed on the remote server. You can also access termbases over the Internet. SOAP support allows you to connect with LAN Clients from one LAN into the servers in the other LAN.
