Use the Termbase Connection dialog box to log into a local or remote termbase.
Local User Name: Enter your user name. This contains the identity that is used in the local termbase system fields. When you add or edit an entry, this identity will be associated with it.
Connect to MultiTerm Server: Check this if you want to connect to a MultiTerm Server.
Remote User Name: Enter your user name. This contains the identity that is used in the remote termbase system fields. When you add or edit an entry, this identity will be associated with it.
Standard LAN : Select this if you wish to connect to a server on a LAN or WAN . Enter the name of the server. This is the connection that is generally used.
MultiTerm Anywhere: Select this if you want to connect to a server that has a firewall.
MultiTerm Server computer: Enter the name of the server.
Change Password: Click this button if you want to change your password for a remote termbase. All passwords are case-sensitive.
Click OK. If you have chosen MultiTerm Server, the MultiTerm Login dialog box appears. You should enter the user name and password assigned to you in MultiTerm Administrator. Please note that this may be different to the identity that you use for local termbases.
