The Reorganise command (Tools Menu)

Use the Reorganise command to update the fuzzy index in a local termbase. This ensures optimum termbase performance.

Termbases are reorganised by default every time you import data. However, you should reorganise your termbase data on a regular basis whether you are carrying out imports or not. You should decide when and how often to reorganise. This depends largely on how large your termbases are and how often data are changed.

To reorganise your fuzzy index:

  1. Select the Reorganise command from the Tools menu.

  2. The Reorganise Termbase dialog box appears. Select the termbase that you want to reorganise

  3. Click OK. The termbase is reorganised.
