Searching with Filters

If you activate a filter before you search, only the terms that match the filter are displayed in the Hit List pane. This could be useful if you only wished to search for entries created for an individual customer or on a particular subject. A filtered search may take longer than a normal search.

To perform a filtered search:

1. Open the termbase which you want to search.

2. If you have not already defined the filter, use the Filter Wizard to create the filter that you need.

3. Activate the filter and perform the search as usual.

Note: If you search with filters, the Previous and Next search options are inactive.
