Working with Local Termbases

All local Jet termbases are stored on your hard disk. Your user name is stored in the Termbase Connection dialog box. You have full access to all termbase data and objects.

They are stored by default in C:\Program Files\TRADOS Corporate Language\MultiTerm\Termbase.

All the MDB files used by MultiTerm are stored here as well.

The first time that you log in, you will be asked to enter a user name. This is the name that is associated with any additions or changes that you make to the termbase.  We recommend that you use the same user name that you use for remote termbases.

Warning

You should never delete MTMaster.mdb. This stores vital information. Doing so can leave your termbases unusable.
