Working with MultiTerm 5 and MultiTerm iX Simultaneously

MultiTerm iX and MultiTerm 5 can be installed on the same machine. Each can be used separately. It is not advisable to use them concurrently.

Termbases can be migrated from MultiTerm 5 to MultiTerm using the MultiTerm Migration Tool. However, there is no facility for converting MultiTerm databases to MultiTerm 5. You should therefore keep any termbases that you might need to use in MultiTerm 5 in that format.
