            <P><B>To change mouse preferences:</B>
               
                  <OL CLASS=STEP>
                     <LI>Bring
                     the Virtual PC window to the front.
                  
                     <LI>On the
                     File menu, click Preferences.
                  
                     <LI>Click
                     the Mouse setting.
                  
                     <LI>Select
                     the desired option, and click OK.
                  </OL>

         <H2>Click In Window To Capture
         Pointer</H2>
         
         <UL>
            
                     <LI><B>Selected<BR>
                     
                     </B>When this option is
                     selected, and you click within a <A HREF="../../shrd/pgs/hostguest.htm">guest</A> PC window, the
                     mouse will be captured by the guest PC.<BR>
                     
                     <LI><B>Deselected<BR>
                     
                     </B>When this option is
                     deselected, and you move the mouse over a guest
                     PC window, the mouse will be captured by the
                     guest PC.<BR>
                     
            </UL>
                  
            <P CLASS=NOTE><B>Note</B>: Use the <A HREF="vpc3Keyboard.htm"
            >host key</A> to return control of the mouse to
            the host.</P>
            
            <P CLASS=NOTE><B>Note</B>: When the <A HREF="../../vpc09/pgs/vpc9VPCAdditions.htm">VPC
            Additions</A> have been installed on a guest PC,
            this preference has no effect. The mouse can move freely
            in and out of the guest PC window.
