                 	the Virtual PC window to the front.
                 	
                 	<LI>On the
                 	File menu, click Preferences.
                 	
                 	<LI>Click
                 	the Performance setting.
                 	
                 	<LI>Select
                 	the desired options, and click OK.

         <H2>Share Time Between Multiple PCs</H2>
         	
         	<UL>
         		<LI><B>Give Front PC More Time<BR>
         		
         		</B>When this option is selected, the front most
         		<A HREF="../../shrd/pgs/hostguest.htm">guest</A> PC
         		will be given more CPU time from the host proccessor.</P>
         		
         		<LI><B>Divide Time Equally<BR>
         		
         		</B>When this option is selected, all of the active
         		<A HREF="../../shrd/pgs/hostguest.htm">guest</A> PCs
         		will be given an equal share of the available host CPU
         		time.<BR>

      	   <H2>Virtual PC Background Performance</H2>
      	   
      	   <UL>
      	   	<LI><B>Give Up Time To Other Processes<BR>
      	   	</B>When this option is selected, Virtual PC will
      	   	release control of the Host CPU when placed in the
      	   	background.<BR>
      	   	
      	   	<LI><B>Run At Maximum Speed<BR>
      	   	</B>When this option is selected, Virtual PC will
      	   	continue to run and utilize the full CPU of the host
      	   	machine even if placed in the background.<BR>
      	   	
      	   	<P CLASS=NOTE><B>Note</B>:Selecting this option
      	   	will affect the performance of other applications
      	   	currently running on the Host machine.<BR>
